Joseph Wallin

About the facilitator & musician

Joseph has a deep passion for connection Music was always there as his spiritual connection, a place where he could belong and where he would eventually find his truth and power. His curiosity is in meeting people beyond words and awaken the dormant shine in everyone he meets.

From a background of playing in different bands and performing on stage - he has for the last 8 years moved into how we can use our connection with Music to discover our dormant powers as vibrational beings. Embracing all experiences and creating our lives from a place of truth and power.

His work is mainly focused on Vocal Awareness. How we use our breath, sound and focus to rediscover our truth inside our body, through our vibrations.
Josephs facilitation is a gentle invitation to listen deeper to your body and he would always suggest you listen to your body more than to his words - as his sole purpose is for you to hear deeper into your truth.

As one of the members in the festival’s house band, Joseph Wallin is deeply devoted to connection to Music. He sees the world of sounds to be a gateway to deep connection between everyone partaking - listening, dancing, playing and singing together. With a background in playing with different bands in all genres and with five years of exploring how the vibrations of the body can liberate our inner light he is dedicated to create spaces for people to discover themselves through Music.

Workshops

Vocal liberation through touch

A gentle introduction to vocal awareness and the vibrational body. This workshop is an invitation to explore yourself as a vibrating being. Through guided vocal awareness, breath, simple sounding, and supportive touch, participants are invited to notice how the vibrations of your body is actually moving your energy and how you can meet more of yourself through tuning in to these vibrations to create more space for expression and movement of energy.

The work begins by merging the breath with your sound. From there, attention is brought to how your sound naturally wants to move and what wants to be expressed. It is a journey into truth.

Touch is invited to be used as a way to bring awareness to the throat, chest, belly, and other areas where the voice resonates, helping the nervous system relax and allowing the voice to vibrate through the whole body.

This is not about singing, performing, or “doing it right.”
It’s about intuitive listening - It is about getting to know yourself as a vibrating being. Everything in this space is an invitation. You are welcome to sound, to rest, to be silent, or simply to witness. The intention is not deep emotional release, but awareness, relaxation, and integration.

What to bring:
Yoga mat
Pillow

Music & Massage

An integrative space of sound, touch, and deep relaxation. Music & Massage is a shared exploration of presence through touch and sound. We gather in a circle and then we co-create a living space where some people lie down and receive, while others offer intuitive touch, music, voice, or quiet presence. We take turns. We listen. We respond to what’s happening in the room.

There is no right way to be here. Touch follows intuition - hands listening to the body.
Music and voice arise in resonance with the space.
Sometimes the room is very still. Sometimes it moves. This is not a performance space.
It’s not a therapy session.
It’s a space for co-regulation, relaxation, and connection. You don’t need to be a musician.
You don’t need to feel confident with your voice.
Being present is enough.

Joseph guides the space and helps to hold the container, but what happens is something we co-create. You may notice how giving and receiving start to flow into each other, and how sound and touch together can help the body soften and settle. You’re invited to take care of yourself throughout - rest when you need, ask for what you want, and say no when something doesn’t feel right. Everything here is an invitation.

What to bring:
Pillows
Blindfold
Blankets

A instruments if you have
